The Let’s ‘Strike Out’ Violence and Inequality for Women 2015 is a ten pin bowling event designed to have the community bowl over pins throughout the day representing the incidences of family violence women in the state of Victoria have suffered in the previous year. It is designed to coincide with International Women’s Day (IWD) as a means of celebrating women’s achievement whilst remembering the inequalities many still face.
The event is being managed by Central Highlands Community Legal Centre and supported through the Ballarat Family Violence Prevention Network. We are incredibly lucky to have the support of Ballarat Lanes Ten Pin Bowling, City of Ballarat and 103.1 Power FM who will be broadcasting live on the day.
